The Munroes
THE MUNROES are a loud, exciting and unique new rock‘n’roll band.
The band members are Robert Munro Runciman vocals, Michele Camasso (Michelangelo) drums, Raph Tibber lead guitar, Michael Parrett rhythm
guitar, and Keith (The Boat) Hill bass.
The band have played numerous gigs, including supports support for The Libertines and Babyshambles gaining a diverse range of fans including Liam Gallagher .The band have managed to organically develop their own strong visual and sonic identity, fusing together elements of 60’s rock, 70’s punk, glam rock, Brit-pop, American rhythm and blues and psychedelia amongst other genres and styles.
The Munroes deliver both a dramatic and passionate live show which keeps the audience not only entertained, but thrilled, and a diverse and ever expanding repertoire of original material that is refreshingly edgy yet surprisingly commercial, turning them into a strong force on the London scene.
Already interest has been shown from publishers, labels and promoters but as yet The Munroes have decided to remain free agents.
The Munroes eponemous debut album has been produced by Mike Bennett who's production, remixing and writing credits include The Fall, The Stranglers, The Specials, Selector, The Beat and Ian Brown.
Guesting on the album is noted Spiritualised Guitarist Mark Refoy and Diane Charlemainge of Moby, Goldie and Urban Cookie Collective fame.
